Joachim Nilsson d670e7d3e8 Clean up logging, log to stderr until syslogd has started 
This patch removes internal logging macros and adds support for logging
to stderr until a syslogd is up and running, i.e. /dev/log appears.

Joachim Nilsson 3f3220e806 Add HOOK_SVC_LOST to detect lost processes 
This patch adds support for the runtime `HOOK_SVC_LOST` and the (very
