Jean Delvare 8c92ac1096 Drop all references to non-sensor chips. We will still detect some of these 
(in particular SPD and EDID EEPROMS) at addresses where hardware monitoring
chips are known to live, to prevent misdetections, but we no longer point
the user to drivers for these chips.

Jean Delvare b170e0be99 Delete all kernel bus drivers, documentation and references. We are 
moving to a user-space-only package, all the drivers are maintained in
the Linux kernel tree itself.

Philip Edelbrock 86beb2b538 (Phil) Minor changes to README. Reflowed a couple paragraphs, removed 
hints that project might be LGPL or that we can offer special permission
for non-GPL use.  Added SMBus and I2C trademark notices (owned by Intel
and Philips, respectively). Updated package copyright to 2004.

John Morris 45576fb3fd (jrm): New driver and other support for the Maxim MAX6650 and MAX6651 chips. 
Mainly targetted (and tested) with the 6651, but should work with
       the MAX6550.
