- fix voltage scaling
- swap voltage limits
- use lower critical rather than upper hysteresis
for non-temperature sensors
- increase libsensors support to 20 voltage, 10 fan,
10 temperature sensors

Hi.
I am using lm_sensors in a slightly patched form.
The motherboard is Intel D845BGL, which features
SMSC LPC47M142 LPC Bus I/O controller.
If you look at the 47m10x and 47m14x datasheets,
you'll notice they have different Device ID's
(the former has 0x59, the latter 0x5F). As far
as the fan monitoring is concerned, they are
pretty much identical.
The 47M142 will be recognized with only some
trivial modifications to the code. I've attached
diffs for lm_sensors-2.7.0 and lm_sensors-2.8.0.
Best regards,
Kalev Soikonen

Thanks!
This patch fixes the various return values in the w83781d_detect()
error paths. It also cleans up some formatting here and there.
It should be applied on top of the previous one.
It works for me; same caveat as above w.r.t. ISA.

Mainly targetted (and tested) with the 6651, but should work with
the MAX6550.
See doc/chips/max6650 for notes, bugs, assumptions, etc.

(mmh) o remove devinitdata marking from i2c-nforce2.c as it's wrong
(mmh) o minor cleanups to the i2c-nforce2 driver

Add half a dozen new features.
Add checksum parameter (same as for the eeprom module)
Fix monitor limits

Update header comments, copyright and authors
Add support for Philips NE1619
Simplify the driver a lot (unified voltages, unified
temperatures and much more)
Fix default voltage limits
Change default temperature limits
Remove the adm1025_read_value and adm1025_write_value
wrappers (direct calls instead)
Swap remote and local temperatures to match the internal
registers order (make the code unification possible)
Export remote diode fault through alarms

SMBus pci device only - instead of also claiming the south bridge.
Although no problems had been reported with the previous detection
strategy, this change avoids the class of problems mentioned here:
http://archives.andrew.net.au/lm-sensors/msg03193.html
As a side benefit, it now looks much more like its sibling in 2.5.7x.
