Disable EEPROM write-protection detection by default.
        Use byte reads for probing on ranges 0x30-0x37 and 0x50-0x5F
        (where EEPROMs live). This should efficiently prevent the
        AT24RF08 corruption.
        Rephrase IBM systems warning.
