Jean Delvare 0b86f4e187 Get I2C adapter driver names from sysfs. The old method (matching against 
regexp for known I2C adapters) is still used as a fallback, as early 2.6
kernels don't support the new method, and some drivers (i2c-viapro for
example) do not bind to their device so the new method doesn't work for
them.

Jean Delvare a0ddf07aad Handle special case chips more efficiently. Instead of listing every 
chip twice with just the driver field differing, we put the chip entry
in the main list directly and resolve the driver field at run-time.

Jean Delvare 78e6d49180 Change default for MINTEMP from 0 to 20 degrees C. Computers never run at 
below 20 degrees C, so setting MINTEMP to 0 uselessly reduces the control
range.

Jean Delvare 7ca1c39b92 Use the same step values for the MINSTOP test as we do for the detailed 
correlation. That is, 15 above 31 and 2 below 31. This makes more sense
than using 10 all the time, as changes in low PWM values tend to have a
greater effect on fan speeds than changes in high PWM values.

Jean Delvare 337f390279 Cache the byte data reads. As we keep reading the same registers over 
and over again in the detection functions, and SMBus can be slow,
caching results in a big performance boost. This closes ticket #2326.

Jean Delvare a00447d1ce Identify the lm85-compatible chips individually. The previous method was 
vendor-based, so we couldn't tell the user what exact device they had,
and the broad device ID mask could lead to false positives.
