Maciej S. Szmigiero 83cafd29f2 Add 'configs' directory where sample configurations can be stored 
Most mainboards need a config file which describe which input of a
monitoring chip is connected to which voltage rail, what are scaling
factors of voltages that can't be measured directly by the chip, which
part of the board has each temperature sensor, which fan is connected to
which tachometer input of the chip, etc.

All these data need to be determined either from a board schematic (if
available) or by a trial-and-error method.

This can be a time consuming and error-prone work, fortunately, it needs to
be done just once per mainboard.
Currently, however, there is no standard mechanism to share such
configurations so multiple users of the same board don't basically waste
their time reinventing the wheel (or recreating the same configuration
again and again).

Previously, a wiki on an old lm-sensors site had a 'Configurations' page
where contributors could submit their configurations.

Since this site is down for two years now and it does not look like it is
coming back we need to find an another solution.

Let's use a 'configs' directory in project repository for these files, so
we can benefit from SCM infrastructure for managing them.
Also, add a reminder in documentation asking people to contribute these
files for benefit of the whole community and configurations for 3
mainboards for a starter.

This adds Fintek F71868A inputs that are hardwired inside the chip (in0,
in7, in8, in9) to sensors.conf.default with appropriate scaling values.

Jean Delvare 1bb3175a5f Recent versions of module-init-tools only want *.conf files under 
/etc/modprobe.d. So rename our configuration file to lm_sensors.conf
there. Also let "make install" rename the file if it already exists.

Jean Delvare 4d64c5d111 New default configuration file. This is sensors.conf.eg with only 
mainboard-neutral statements. This means in particular:
* Only internally-scaled voltages are configured.
* Only internal temperature sensors are labelled.
* No fan labels.
We will soon switch to this configuration file as the default,
for both performance and correctness.

Jean Delvare 2e954a6580 Move the help section of sensors.conf.eg to sensors.conf.5, so that 
we have only one document to maintain. This change also speeds up
sensors by 2.5% when using the default configuration file.

Jean Delvare d04f1c7306 sensors.conf.eg: Fix voltage value references in compute statements. The 
measured voltage value are now named inX_input, not just inX, but the
default configuration file was not properly updated to reflect this. This
caused errors to be displayed by "sensors" for the g520sm, lm80 and pc87366
chips. Reported by Aurelien Jarno.

Jean Delvare 35a5a7dbce Use /etc/sensors3.conf as the default configuration file. If it can't 
be found, fallback to /etc/sensors.conf. This allows for an old
libsensors and a new libsensors to be installed in parallel, and each
one has its own configuration file.

One important change here is that the default configuration file will
be installed as /etc/sensors3.conf by "make install".
