Frodo Looijaard b94761e2e4 Updated version numbering for 2.6.0

It seems that VERSION is now defined to LM_VERSION, so I removed this line
from the checklist.

I did a `cvs diff -r V2-5-5'. Looking at it, I see no interface changes,
but I do see new functionality. So I updated the library minor version.
The library version is now 1.2.0.

Frodo Looijaard fa1081df9a Finally added almost all drivers to mkpatch! 
I added the list we made some weeks ago, except for the maxilife driver
which is old and which I do not trust at all.

To do: add descriptions for Documentation/Configure (any volunteers?
It should be put in mkpatch.pl next to the other documentation)

Frodo Looijaard aa0c8f6768 Updated the MUTEX definitions again - they are now guarded by 
the horrible
         #if (LINUX_VERSION_CODE < KERNEL_VERSION(2,2,18)) || \
             (LINUX_VERSION_CODE == KERNEL_VERSION(2,3,0))
        They should now both work with 2.3 kernels (including 2.4 prepatches)
        and very new 2.2 kernels (ie. 2.2.18 prepatches)

* LM80 detect was broken, because it tried to access register $0x02
  (instead of 0x02); this resulted in a runtime warning.
* At one place, another perl warning is fixed now.

Frodo Looijaard 0aedf2d5d1 sensors-detect should cope better now with adapters with multiple 
busses

The changes are large and tricky, so it is almost certain there are
many bugs. Please run sensors-detect and tell me whether it works
correctly or not.

All changes are in the routines that print the modprobe statements at
the end, so if it fails, it will fail there.

Initially, random values were put in the voltage registers. If iterate was
left at 0, these random values were put in /proc.

Solution: initialize voltage[0..2] with 0.

Frodo Looijaard 8199abde46 New sensors.conf keyword 'ignore' 
This often-asked for, long-planned and somewhat-forgotten feature
makes it possible to tell libsensors-linked applications (like
the sensors program) that certain features should not be displayed.
This is very nice for things like unconnected temperature sensors
or fans.

Modifications to the library code, to the sensors program and to
the documentation and example sensors.conf file.

Frodo Looijaard fd545796ee Changes regarding the new i2c_check_addr function 
Changes in sensors.c:

  sensors_detect now skips addresses which are already taken. Even a
  force parameter can not override this, as it could lead to major
  problems.
  For ISA addresses, the same is done; but the client drivers still need
  a check if they claim more than one ISA address (as all of the current
  ISA clients do).

Changes in chip drivers:

  Removed the comment about needing address registration

Changes in i2cdetect.c:

  Marks addresses which are already claimed

Changes in sensors-detect:

  Warns when an address is already claimed, and skips it.

Frodo Looijaard d14ecfa522 sensors-detect now shows aliases 
Could somebody with a LM78 or W83781D on both SMBus and ISA bus please test
this? It should say `Alias of the chip on I2C bus `...' address `...''
when scanning the ISA bus.
