Jean Delvare 09804db12d Prevent repeated resets on new variants of the VIA Pro (KT800). 
This is done by not taking care of additional status bits. This is a

Jean Delvare 24c4f308b4 Use s8 instead of u8 for temperature. This simplifies the 
temperature conversion macros quite a bit, and fixes a bug with negative
temperatures as a side effect.
This is a backport from Linux 2.6.
