Mark D. Studebaker 6b9ce051d3 preserve pin settings from registers 0x57 and 0x58 at startup. ...

These select fan type (2 or 3 wire) as well as temp sensor type
      (thermistor or diode) and temperature vs. voltage sensing for
      two pins. This should help those on various Tyan mobos.
      Driver used to reset the chip and then program a fixed setting which
      worked for the Tyan S1824D board but not for Tyan 2510.
