Merlin Hughes da76559ae6 mh: Fix i2c-amd756 support for non-nForce chips (probably a 
patch error vs changed source). Change module so it registers
the detected device in i2c under its own name (e.g,
AMD756/AMD766/AMD768/nVidia nForce rather than AMD7X6).
Updated sensors-detect accordingly.

Here's a patch against current lmsensors CVS which updates i2c-keywest
to the latest version needed on powermac. It's already in Marcelo as
one of the 2.4.18-pre's.

You may note that the i2c "mode" isn't what it should be to match
exactly what linux-i2c expects (see explaining comment). I will have
to define new transfer types in order to work around that, but it's
ok to do that now as we use this driver only for the sound chip
for now.

Mark D. Studebaker f3beaa1809 rename /proc entries from "data16-31" to simply "10" (hex) 
which is shorter, simpler, easier to use in scripts,
      and the best reason is that it's alphabetical so that
      "cat *" output is in the correct order.

Hello,

I have to use the pcf8574 chip with my I2C interface, however, the pcf8574
drivers in lm-sensors is a bit basic. It supposes the pin P1 is used as an
input and the others pin as outputs.

Attached is a patch which corrects that, providing to files in /proc
interface, one for writting, the other for reading. It also modifies a bit
the driver to support the pcf8574a (it is a pcf8574 with a different address
range), and add a documentation file in doc/chips.

The patch also includes some cosmetic changes in the pcf8591 driver I wrote
previously, that is to say it modify the chip name in some places I had
forgotten to change when I made a copy/paste from another driver.
